My name is Harry Smith. Like many people here, I love computer graphics and have been involved with computer graphics since the late '80's. I was born in North Adams, Massachusetts and grew up surrounded by museums and galleries which I attribute to my love of fine art. And, while I hardly consider myself a master, I still try to "steal" from the greats, trying to bring the spirit and energy from what they've done into what I'm doing.
The great work in the CG Society constantly manages to inspire me and push me forward and I feel grateful to be at a point in my life where the lines between work and play are blurred. To me, 3D modeling & texturing are zen activities (most of the time) where I can lose myself in the moment. Here's to having more of them. . . .
